Its painted on deep edge box canvas, the sides are painted and it does not require framing.
It painted with reds,oranges and yellows for the sunset sky and water and the trees and reflections are painted with black and white paint to produce a frosty look.
Its bold and bright, and the uploaded image does not do this work justice.
